No one shall keep me from the house of God

I was heavy of heart
Felt like I've been starved for days
My body was dragging itself..nearing coma
Though no one would know

Such it was on that Wednesday
On my way to church
Only God kept me to His house
The unyielding rock

So I sat
As my usher directed
ready for the message
To be filled

My life never remained the same
I was fed and nourished
With the word
Nothing remained the same

New vigour
New energy
It was like a new me going home
In the place of the old one

I was sure
Focused, strengthened
And I knew...
Who shall keep me away from Gods presence?

No one and nothing!
Oh glory to God!
I wanted to leap up and shout for joy

oh ..I think I did
