Everything in my life is to glorify you
my walking is for your glory
my talking,
my singing
my sleeping,
my eating,
even my going to the toilet
is for your glory
My father, my Lord, my everlasting God, rock of ages
my life belongs to you
and its for your glory.

A Soliloquy "Love your enemies" Matthew 5 v 43- 44

Matthew 5 v 43- 44
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies..."
LOVE? LOVE?
How can I love Him
who did this
I hate him
I can't help it
oh, but look here
it says
"love your enemies"
but how can i
after what he did
how is that possible
its unatural,
you should hate those who have hurt you so deeply like this
its not possible to love
how can i
but Jesus says
"love your enemies..."
yes, but how can i love that?
but my Jesus said Love
He said i should love, i must love him
even though he's hurt me so
My God said i should love
Love my enemies
I can love Him (tears )
not because i can do it in my power
but because i can do it in christ
i can love
I will love Him
yes because my Jesus said i should
I will live this word of God
and act it
be a christ-ian
in words and deeds
i will be like my God
and  love the unlovable
oh yes i will love!

There is a certain life in God,
but this life has being closed off to the world
-to those who have not received Christ
-the  people of the world
they can't see this life
they are unaware of this kind of life
that you are enjoying
We need to spread the gospel to those
who are still suffering
The life Jesus provided when He died and rose again
is available to all...
What is this life...I hear you ask.
Its the higher life
He defeated the Devil and because we are in Him
we have defeated the Devil also
...and live the higher life

When temptation comes knocking on the door

no, let us not go and find out what it is

but let the holyspirit go and open the door

so temptation will say

"sorry, I must have missed my way"

A poem I wrote when my Grandma passed away few years back.

Grandma

A beautiful memory of you, grandma

You have come to stay with us for the holiday

My brothers are watching wrestling

You’re with us, sitting on the long sofa…

In your traditional robe, I think your gele is down

All of a sudden…

“Stop them! Don’t let them kill themselves,

Stop them! Stop them!”

You are on the edge of your seat now

Your hands flailing forward…

Towards the TV

“Stop them!...will they not kill themselves…”

My brothers are trying to get a word out…

“We can’t, it’s on TV, it’s not happening now…we can’t stop it”

You are quiet for a while now.

Then…  

“Aaahha! 

With a jolt up the chair, your hands pointing forward…

“Is this not too much…”

“…they will kill themselves…”

“Stop them!”

“Stop them before they kill themse…”

Head thrown back…                                                                                                                                                                                I am laughing…                                                                                                                                                                                   "My grandma is definitely at home"
