What is the meaning of this?

This is the narration
When Paul and Silas were in Prison together
And they sang praises to God
The prisoners heard them...

"Who are those making such a racket?"
"Don't they know they are not the only ones here??"
"And what exactly is there to be joyful about in here?"
They looked about the dark sodden walls which encamped them..

What could they be thinking? they wondered...

"Oh!" exclaimed Barack

"These are those supposed followers of Christ!"

"Can you imagine...He rose from the dead!"

Their guffaws and laughter ran through the Prison 

The voice of Paul and Silas grew even louder..

"HEY!" Shouted Luke to them..

"WOULD YOU KEEP IT DOWN OVER THERE?!"

"Unbelievable right!"

YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR GOD?..SING TO YOURSELVES!.."

"..THE REST OF US DON'T HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT!"

 

Suddenly, there was a loud sound..

As of an earthquake..

The grounds moved, the doors opened

Paul and Silas were out- free!

Luke and Barack stared in amazement

 

"Truly your God is real.."

They..and other prisoners professed!

"Tell us about Him.."

"We also want to know.."

"So we may be saved..."

FIND OUT and LIVE it!

God brought you HERE for a reason
He brought you here for a PURPOSE

You are not some DIVINE EXPERIMENT
So He can see what you can do!

Your path to take has been arranged
What has He called you for?

Find out
and Live it!

The boy who knew Himself not

I met a boy once
He was new in our school
Everyday the bullies came and terrorised him
He could neither defend Himself
For He knew himself not

Then came the day
'They' marched in to school
No one knew where from they came
But they came and began to teach..
The boy who knew himself not

It was the small things at first
The words, the eyes,
The gestures, the stance
The boy who knew Himself not..
Now Knew Himself.

What miracle then..
when we move from been a child in Christ
(Ignorant of who He is)
To one cognisant of his inheritance in Christ-
Fully aware of what belongs to Him or Her

What miracle then..
When we can definitely say...NO!
..to that bully of old-Satan
And he shall flee
For we are kings and Queens unto God

Yea,
so it was with the boy who knew himself not

I was in the shops on a certain day..

I watched the shop keeper keenly

I was short of money

I had made a larger purchase than intended

And I needed more money for another purchase

What do I do now?

the shopkeeper is busy with the transaction

I stood composed all the while

Then he hands me a fiver

Instead of a pound and something

I felt like someone handed a million

I can go and spend it on whatever I needed and the rest!

What should I do?

I couldnt possibly give it back

This might be God's way of helping me!

What should I do?

What would God want me to do?

I turned around to the shopkeeper

He was in the middle of another transaction

"Excuse me, you overpaid..."

BROKEN HEEL

I walked out of my house
In the burning shinning sun
In the early morning
click clack..my quickened heels
sounding on the silver pavements

Then upon getting to the bus stop
About to board the transport..
No bus pass!
And no house keys!
Hahahaa "I have to go back home"

"God is good"
As I traipsed back home
"God is marvellous"
I kept up the confession
"God is good"

Even as my thoughts wanted to fall
Into the dark abyss..
Even before my Sunday morning could start
"God is excellent"
I refused to think otherwise

Then...the final "clack"
My heel had broken

With the uneven stance..I waddled home
There...made plainly for all to see
The love of God...

He sent me home now
rather than a later-longer- journey

And indeed..
what I faced had no effect on my stance or words
"we're men of faith"
someone said..
In fact, its said in the word!

"We walk by faith and not by sight"
We're not moved by the present situations
We know it's all working for our good!
What would have happened in the middle of my journey people??
A broken heel.
