Prayer of Petition

I have a testimony
I attended a meeting, past gone
I learnt of the prayer of petition

It is earnest, continual, heartfelt
It doesn't stop
Intent on getting that answer,
Unyielding..
Unbending
Uncompromising
Like a axe falling on the tree
It doesn't stop till it gets what it wants

It also requires confidence
Confidence in the way maker
Miracle worker
Promise Keeper
He who speaks of things which do not exist
as though they are real

Elijah knew this
And he prayed that there should be no rain
And there was no rain for 3 years and a half!
BOSS!
For"The eyes of the Lord move to and fro...
to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart are perfect towards him"
What more do you need to know?

Get down on your prayer knees
It can be 5 mins or half an hour
with great intensity and unwavering of mind
You state your case
And you don't stop till you see that thing which you desire.

Shalom
